Tulshi Kumar Das is a professor of Social Work. He has been teaching for the last 26 years at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Sylhet, Bangladesh. He received his MPhil and PhD from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India. He served as the head of the department of Social Work and also the dean of School of Social Sciences at the Shahjalal University of Science and Technology. His research interests include child labor, slum culture, natural disaster, domestic violence, poverty and microcredit, and indigenous social work. He has so far published more than 65 articles in nationally and internationally reputed journalsHe has also contributed 12 book chapters published by reputed publishing companies.

تولشی کومار داس استاد مددکاری اجتماعی با سابقه 26 ساله تدریس در دانشگاه علم و صنعت شاه جلال در بنگلادش است. او مدرک دکتری خود را از دانشگاه جواهر لعل نهرو ، دهلی نو در هند دریافت نموده و به عنوان رئیس بخش مددکاری اجتماعی و همچنین رئیس دانشکده علوم اجتماعی در دانشگاه علم و صنعت شاه جلال مشغول به کار بوده است. علایق تحقیقاتی وی شامل کار کودکان، فرهنگ فقیرنشینی، بلایای طبیعی، خشونت خانگی، فقر، اعتبار خرد و مددکاری اجتماعی بومی است. وی تا کنون بیش از 65 مقاله در مجلات معتبر ملی و بین المللی منتشر کرده است و  در 12 فصل از کتاب های مختلفی که توسط منتشران معتبر  چاپ و منتشر شده، مشارکت داشته است.
